Different possibilities are offered for the users`safety all along the activity

Usual lifeline and equipment

The participant must have their two carabiners clipped on the lifeline cable. When they have to do a transition on a tree to change games, they have to clip one carabiner at a time from the lifeline to the other lifeline to be secured.

Lifeline: 1/2 or 3/8 galvanized wire rope
Operation equipment: Harness, a double lanyard with two carabiners, one carabiner is used at a time from the lifeline to the next lifeline to be secured.

Continuous belay system

Users are connected onto the lifeline at the beginning of the course and fully secured throughout the entire activity until they return to the ground. This system enables participants to progress on the course without the possibility of becoming unlocked.

Lifeline: 1/2 or 3/8 galvanized wire rope
Operation equipment: Harness, a lanyard with one special carabiner.

CliC-iT system

CliC-iT is a Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which consists of  a double lanyard with two special carabiners specially designed for Aerial Adventure Courses and Challenge Courses. CliC-iT synchronizes the open/locked position of the two carabiners. At least one of the carabiner is always secured to a lifeline .The release of both carabiners at the same time is impossible when used in compliance with the users’ instruction.

Lifeline: 1/2 or 3/8 galvanized wire rope
Operation equipment: Harness, a double CliC-iT lanyard with two special carabiners.

On all these systems proposed a pulley with a lanyard is used to ride zip lines.
